A genuine smile glows from our deepest layer of self-love, radiating like sunlight through clouds and embracing everything as an extension of oneself.
The inner smile, born from a loving intention, emerges on our face and then permeates our internal reality. It's true that a smile may feel fake at first, but our body's response is genuine happiness, regardless.
This happiness can help relieve stress and increase energy levels. It can also nourish every cell, fiber, gland, and organ in our body.
Try a smile trial for a minute. Relax your face, bring to mind something joyful, a person or a place that fills your experience with joy, and let a smile spread from your eyes to your lips. Now, frown and sense the emotional and energetic shift. Do you feel the difference? Considering it takes only 26 muscles to smile and 62 muscles to frown, why wear the sad face?
